Responsible Monetization of
Geolocation
The Gateway Mobile Location Center (GMLC) provides secure, anonymous and standards-based access to subscriber location using network-based positioning methods including SUPL (Secure User Plane Location) where higher accuracy is required, without relying on smartphone apps or GPS tracking, fully respecting user privacy.
The GMLC enables mobile operators to support public safety alerts, provide IoT asset tracking information, complement marketing efforts with a geographically relevant perspective, and deliver location-based services (LBS) for personal security and basic authentication use cases.
Mobile operators hold one of the most powerful assets in digital services: location data, yet they often struggle to monetize it safely and efficiently. With PAiCore’s GMLC, operators stay in full control of how geolocation data is used and shared, while supporting high-availability deployments in active-active or active-passive configurations.
PAiCore’s GMLC provides Cell ID information from any 2G/3G/4G/5G mobile network, as well as from any Cellular IoT networks, and enables access to location-based information in an anonymous & secure way via our Geolocation API. This ideal for any emergency alerts system or for IoT device tracking.
